online real time courier tracking and delivery system

Courier service providers often have expansive networks that span multiple countries. As packages move through various stages—such as distribution centers, airports, ships, and road transport—customers want to stay informed about the status and location of their deliveries. To address this, we propose a dedicated courier tracking system that allows customers to track their packages in real time.

Each distribution point, including centers, airport terminals, rail stations, and road terminals, is equipped with a tracking system operated by authorized personnel at each location. Authorized users at each point will log the arrival of a package. This data is then uploaded to a central system that monitors the real-time status and location of the package through an active internet connection. The data stored on the server is made available to customers, enabling them to track their package’s current status.

Customers can log into the system with their unique tracking number. Once entered, the system retrieves the most recent status update for that package and displays it to the user. Customers can check the status of their delivery at any time. The system can be further enhanced by incorporating barcode scanning at each distribution point, allowing personnel to scan the barcode rather than manually entering the package number.
